## Frequently asked questions

### Do I have to connect my WhatsApp account?

No, and that’s the starting point of the app: aiWapp does not connect to WhatsApp. It doesn’t use Meta’s API, doesn’t log in, doesn’t send messages, doesn’t set up automatic replies, and doesn’t extract contacts or groups, so there’s no way your account can get blocked for using it. It works with two things you already have: your phone number, to build the wa.me link and its QR code, and the file WhatsApp itself lets you export from a conversation.

### Is my conversation uploaded to any server?

No. The .txt or .zip is read and analyzed entirely inside your browser, and while the analysis is running the app shows you a network indicator so you can check it yourself: put your phone in airplane mode and you’ll see it keeps working. If you later decide to save the report so you can reopen it without the file, the only thing that travels is the JSON of aggregates: counts, medians, rankings, and time series. Not a single message. Example text quotes are disabled by default, and if you enable them, you’re shown one by one what will be sent before it’s submitted.

### How do I export the chat to analyze it?

From WhatsApp itself: open the conversation, go to the contact or group menu, and choose “Export chat” → “Without media” (with media it’s extremely heavy and adds nothing to the analysis). The app includes a guide with the steps for iPhone and Android, automatically detects your system, and accepts both the Android .txt and the iPhone .zip, in 12- or 24-hour format and with dates in dd/mm or mm/dd. If anything is ambiguous, it asks you one single question with two real examples from your chat.

### Is Love Analyzer reliable?

It’s a reading of conversation patterns for entertainment purposes, not a couple’s diagnosis or a psychological assessment, and the app says so openly. That said, it doesn’t make things up: every score comes from real counts normalized per 1,000 messages against a fixed calibration —never comparing you with other users— so that a 300-message chat and an 80,000-message one are comparable, and every number shows where it comes from. Below about 300 messages or 30 days, it doesn’t assign a level: it warns that it’s still too early. Lexicon-based analysis works in Spanish and English; in other languages it uses only structural signals and says so.
